About the EPS: The UM6P Engineering Physics School (EPS), established by UM6P, stands as a premier engineering physicsschool in Morocco. Over a three-year program, it trains physicists to emerge as future entrepreneurs, leaders,and professionals in the Kingdom and across Africa. The program awards an EPS engineering degree, and itseducation and research are developed at the UM6P Institute of Applied Physics.

Experimental Responsibilities:
Lead experiments to characterize and study the properties of new photonics materials.
Develop complex optical systems for detecting and controlling optical phenomena, including photonics devices.
Supervise students in hands-on experimental research, including developing innovative optical systems.
Teaching Responsibilities:
Introduction to Photonics: Principles of light, electromagnetic waves, and basic photonic materials. Advanced Photonics and Materials: Study of photonic materials, optical properties, and their applications in photonics devices.
Photonics Lab: Hands-on experience in optical systems design, characterization of photonic materials, and experiments on light-matter interactions.
Optical Instrumentation: Practical courses on designing and testing optical sensors and detection systems.
Requirements:
- PhD in Photonics, Optical Physics, or a related field. Expertise in optical detection systems and experience in experimental photonics.
- Familiarity with advanced material characterization techniques in photonics and optical measurement systems.
- Teaching Skills: Ability to teach at various levels (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral) and use modern pedagogical methods.
Research Skills: Ability to conduct high-impact and independent research and contribute to collaborative projects.
Communication Skills: Excellent skills in communicating research findings to diverse audiences, writing scientific papers, and presenting at conferences.
Languages: Proficiency in scientific English (both oral and written).
